Levels in Class

Description of experience levels for each class.

Beginner Classes

Absolute beginners- Individuals with no experience or less than 50 minutes of dance training.

New beginners- Individuals with some (less than 8 hours) dance studio training experience.

Experienced beginners- Individuals that have had more than 10 hours of studio dance training. Weekend club or party dancing or learning from ‘You Tube’ or a boyfriend, fiancé, or some Latin guy “you knew for awhile” does not count as training.

Progressive Classes

Beginning Intermediate level students-Individuals with more than 25 hours of studio dance training.

Experienced Intermediate level students-Individuals with more than 50 hours of studio dance training.

Advanced level students- Dancers with over 100 hours of training in studio or conferences.
