Enhance your Sensual Bachata with ZOUK and KIZOMBA movements.

Kizomba: The newest and most sensual Latin Dance from Angola.

Zouk: A beautiful flowing dance originating in the Caribbean.

Learn the basics of these new sensual partner dances. No partners or prior training is necessary to attend this quarterly held course at the UA.  During these sessions, we will be warming up individually then transitioning to partner work. We will cover the 3 basics, counter tempo and saida technique in kizomba and body work in Zouk.

August Bachata Social

Join us at Fluxx Studio (416 E. 9th st) for a fun night of dancing and socializing.  From 8:30 pm until midnight sharp, Salsa Soulseros will be hosting a Bachata and Salsa Social. And of course some merengue will be thrown in, but mostly it will be about 70% Bachata!

Location: Fluxx Studio 416 E. 9th St.

Friday:  August 24th: 8:30pm until midnight

Cost: $5 per person, all ages 

Bachata Lesson 8:30-9 pm all levels are welcome

This event will be replaced in September and throught the school year with DJ Robb’s Bachata Social at the UA. 

The Return of the Bachata Social!

Yes, DJ Rob is back for this Fall Semester and that means that the Bachata Social is back!! 

Come join DJ Rob for the Free Bachata Social. Be ready to practice your bachata, meet some new friends, share in conversation and listen to the extensive music collection by DJ Rob!! Although the main focus will be Bachata, there will be some Salsa and Merengue mixed in too.

As always, this is a FREE, All Ages event!  This Free social starts at 7:30 pm and is held on the UA campus in the BioSciences West Building.  Click HERE for directions and other info.

Bachata in Denver!

Wanna get out of the heat? Please carefully read the below section for details on certain events and changes coming soon: 

  • Our last class at the ABT will be Monday, March 28th . Starting in April we will be changing locations to the new fabulous FLUXX Studio  at 416 E. 9th St.  Salsa Mondays and Bachata Wednesdays. FLUXX is a beautiful studio with supportive management and is the home of other fun dance classes, art showings and evening events.
  • Bachata FIT will start again in a few weeks. Come on by and dance and sweat with us!  Follow the BACHATA FIT link above for location and price.
  • The Bachata Social is ON !  Thankfully, DJ Rob was safe in Hawaii during the weather emergency evacuations.  So, he’ll be hosting the super fun, all ages Bachata Social this Saturday.  Follow the SOCIAL GATHERINGS link above for time and location.

  • Saturday, March 26th will be our Dinner & Dancing Field Trip.  Come checkout the new Downtown Kitchen + Cocktails, then dancing to Salsarengue at El Parador.  Details are on the SOCIAL GATHERINGS page.
  • Starting  April 4th we will be changing class locations to the new fabulous FLUXX Studio & Gallery at 414 E. 9th St.  This is a beautiful studio with supportive management and is the home of other fun dance classes, art showings and evening events.  Our Soulseros team is very excited for this change!
  • Summer will be teaching at the Atlanta Bachata Festival the second weekend in April. Halloween Bachata Social!

Join us on Saturday, October 30th for a fun Halloween themed Bachata Social!  Last year we had some very creative costumes… (like the one worn by Mr. Axel in the picture to the right). Hopefully this year, you can show off your silliest and scariest ones as well.

As always, this is a FREE, All Ages event!

Time and location:  7 – 9:30 pm at the UA Biological Sciences West Building Room 301, 1041 E. Lowell Street.

This building is directly northwest of the large parking garage on 6th St. near Fremont Ave (across from Zacherys Pizza). To find room 301, walk along the east side of the building, walk up the stairs on your left to the north patio. Once on the patio walk past the glass double doors and enter through the brown metal doors into room 301.

Learn from one of the most sought after Bachateros in the US!  On the weekend of October 23rd & 24th, Alejandro Rey will be in Tucson to conduct 8 hours of his specialty workshops including: Crazy Merengue, Dominican Bachata, Urban Bachata, Bachata Musicality and the one and only… Lap Dance Workshop that has been a hit amongst the Bachata Festival circuit!

While Alejandro is in town, we will also have our Monthly Dinner & Dancing Field Trip and a special all ages Salsa and Bachata Party on Friday, October 22nd.  This is an event not to be missed… delicious food, great company, great music and a fun location on 4th Ave.
