SalsaSoulseros is an Instructional Group, offering a full spectrum of Community Education, Salsa-Latin Dance Classes and Holistic Services for Individuals, Organizations and Educational Institutions throughout Tucson Arizona. Bachata Bootcamp and Memorial Day

Ladies, there are two more spaces for you available in the Bachata Bootcamp. Email salsasoulseros@gmail.com to claim one of these spots! Workshop details: this Sunday the 27th, 3-5pm at The Historic Y in the second floor lobby, 738 N 5th ave. $25 per person if you email by Saturday midnight, $30 at the door.

Class is “on” for Memorial Day! Join us this monday for the beginners Salsa class starting at 6pm. Also, take time out to remember our fallen warriors!

Regular Schedule for this week

This Wednesday our regular Intermediate Class is back to it’s normal schedule, so come on by Fluxx at 6pm
However, next Wednesday, May 23rd there will be no class. Summer and Bruce will be teaching at the www.NYCBachataWeekender.com with the www.BachataFusion.com crew.
Next Monday, May 21st Liz will be in town to teach the Beginner Salsa and Bachata Class as normal. Be patient with her and plan on arriving early to help the sign-in process go smoothly since she’ll be without her teammate, Bruce!
Since we will be gone, there will not be Bachata FIT until June. Please give Summer your input on best days/times to have B-FIT. Saturday or Sunday, weekday evenings? Take a look at the Bachata FIT regulars, Pedro and Filipe, pushing throught the “FIT” portion of B-FIT! Sandbag cleans and carries, bear crawls – Fun stuff!!

Please remember that:

There is NO Wednesday Intermediate class at Fluxx…we will instead meet on Thursday at The Historic Y, 738 N. 5th Ave in the 2nd floor lobby.
This Saturdays Bachata FIT class, will be the last one until we re-start in June… Come Dressed to sweat - 300 S. Park Ave. $8, 10-11 am
Saturday afternoon (1-4 pm) is The 3 hour Salsa Beginner Bootcamp, registration deadline is Thursday, May 10th by midnight. Details HERE
Sunday afternoon (4-6:30 pm) will be our experienced beginner/intermediate Ladies Footwork and Spins workshop. Registration deadline is also same time on Thursday. Details HERE

May Workshops

The schedule for our May workshops is now posted, Click HERE for details. These specialty classes will start this weekend with Bachata FIT and Crazy Merengue this Saturday! Both of these classes are open to all experience levels. Our Salsa, Bachata and Ladies Bootcamps have separate experience requirements so be sure to check the May Specialty Classes page and pre-register for the workshops to get the best prices and reserve your spot.

If you happen to be on the east coast in a few weeks come on by the NYC Bachata Weekender! You’ll see a familiar instructor, as well as some other great Bachata instructors from across the US. Click banner for more info!

Last Bachata Social of Semester

Tonight is the final Bachata Social of this semester so come on out and dance to the fun Bachata (and some Salsa) selections by DJ Rob. The next Bachata Social will not be until September, so be there tonight! Directions HERE. Also, tonight at 8:15 pm Summer will be teaching a short Bachata footworks class to the Social attendees. Be there on time, you won’t want to miss this.

May is just a few days away, so sign up for our newsletter using the link to the left to be informed of our upcoming events/classes/workshops. These will include the return of the popular and challenging Bachata FIT class, Crazy Merengue and longer bootcamps in Salsa and Bachata to really solidify your beginner technical skills. Info regarding registration, pricing and location will be posted here on Monday so check back and Pre-register to get the best prices.

Planning Ahead: the May 9th Intermediate class will be temporarily changed to Thursday, May 10th at the Historic Y. Fluxx is hosting an event on our usual evening so we’re changing our Intermediate schedule for this week only. I’ll remind you next week.

-Help us find 6 year old Isabel. She disappeared on saturday.

-Construction has begun on 4th ave near the dance studio. Please arrive early to find parking on 9th street!

-The Bachata Social is on for April 28th.

-Come out and support our returning warriors from the Gulf, during the parade scheduled for saturday March 31st. Click here for details.

-The Bachata Social Has been cancelled this week due to the UA Spring Break. However, there will be another social on March 31st.

-If you are one of our dedicated Beginner and Intermediate dance students and would like to attend the Friday night dance practice, please email us at salsasoulseros@gmail.com to identify yourself and to obtain the private address! Dancing will begin around 7:30pm.

-There is a speciality “Musicality and Sensuality” workshop for beginners and intermediates coming up in April. Email us to Register soon since space is limited.

-Finally… join us this Saturday at Fluxx Studio. They will be having their 1 year anniversary party!!

Join us during our on-going beginning Latin Dance classes on mondays and intermediate sessions on wednesdays at FLUXX at 6pm!

The Bachata Social is ON for March 31st!

Re-scheduled February Workshops

Hola Bachateras y Salseros!

All our regular Monday and Wednesday classes are still ON….but… certain workshops (Dominican Bachata, Salsa Transitions and Ladies Styling) have been cancelled and rescheduled! Our ‘Speciality Workshop Instructor’, Summer has injured her knee, (possibly a meniscus tear) and will be forced to stay off her feet as much as possible.

If you have already registered for these workshops you will be contacted regarding a refund. Once Summer gets the okay for more activity then we’ll schedule the workshops for late February.
