If you weren’t there, Y’all missed out on a super fun Breakdancing class!  So much fun that we’ll have another workshop soon… Save the date: Sunday, November 18th.

Also, some of you drove up to Phoenix for the Prince Royce concert.  And a special girl, Melissa from our beginner class, was lucky enough to get pulled on stage!

One more thing, Bruce & Summer will be teaching at the this weekend.  Rui and Sandra are also coming, so make sure you ask them for stories about their super fabulous bachata weekend!  This also means that there will be NO TRANSITIONS CLASS ON THURSDAY (Oct 25th), however we will be back in town in time for our regular Monday Beginner group class.

May Workshops

The schedule for our May workshops is now posted, Click HERE for details.  These specialty classes will start this weekend with Bachata FIT and Crazy Merengue this Saturday!  Both of these classes are open to all experience levels.  Our Salsa, Bachata and Ladies Bootcamps have separate experience requirements so be sure to check the May Specialty Classes page and pre-register for the workshops to get the best prices and reserve your spot.

Yes, DJ Rob is back for this Fall Semester and that means that the Bachata Social is back!! 

Come join DJ Rob for the Free Bachata Social. Be ready to practice your bachata, meet some new friends, share in conversation and listen to the extensive music collection by DJ Rob!! Although the main focus will be Bachata, there will be some Salsa and Merengue mixed in too.

Bachata in Denver!

Wanna get out of the heat? Please carefully read the below section for details on certain events and changes coming soon: 

  • Our last class at the ABT will be Monday, March 28th . Starting in April we will be changing locations to the new fabulous FLUXX Studio  at 416 E. 9th St.  Salsa Mondays and Bachata Wednesdays. FLUXX is a beautiful studio with supportive management and is the home of other fun dance classes, art showings and evening events.
  • Bachata FIT will start again in a few weeks. Come on by and dance and sweat with us!  Follow the BACHATA FIT link above for location and price.
  • The Bachata Social is ON Thankfully, DJ Rob was safe in Hawaii during the weather emergency evacuations.  So, he’ll be hosting the super fun, all ages Bachata Social this Saturday.  Follow the SOCIAL GATHERINGS link above for time and location.

Classes in February

Our Monday “Salsa” Classes and Friday “Bachata” Classes are all on for February.  Here is what the schedule looks like:

Salsa Mondays @ Arizona Ballet Theatre, 2512 E. 6th St:  6-7 pm Beginners, 6:30-7:30 pm Experienced Beginners, 7-8 pm Intermediates

Bachata Fridays @ Arizona Ballet Theatre, 2512 E. 6th St:  6-7 pm Beginners, 6:30-7:30 pm Experienced Beginners, 7-8 pm Intermediates

There will just be one day this month where we will NOT be having class, and that is… Friday, February 11th.   However, if you would like to join us at the LA Bachata Festival, click below! 

During January and February we will be teaching at various Bachata events around the U.S.A. This means that our schedule will be a little different for these months.  While Monday (January 3rd 6pm) will be our first class for 2011, please check back often for our updated class schedule.

Sorry for the last minute cancellation last Monday, and Yes, There WILL Be Class Today 9/27!  Thank you all for your concern about Mr Bruce and his mystery surgery… no it was not an enhancement type….he’s fine there!  Due to his recovery efforts he is out for the count for the rest of the month. 

There will be NO BACHATA class on Friday Oct 1st, since our team will be in Dallas teaching at the Bachata Festival! However, to make up for the lack of bachata for the weekend we will change the format in this Wednesdays Latin Dance class to satisfy your Bachata fix….this week only though. 

*So, this weeks Latin Dance Wednesday class at Breakout, will consist of 30 minutes Salsa, and 60 minutes Bachata.  We will bring back Merengue next week.

Classes will NOT be held between Friday the 16th and Monday the 19th. 

Summer and Bruce will be teaching at the San Francisco Bachata Festival.  Plan ahead for next year and consider joining us in good ole San Francisco!!
