Last Bachata Social of Semester

Tonight is the final Bachata Social of this semester so come on out and dance to the fun Bachata (and some Salsa) selections by DJ Rob.  The next Bachata Social will not be until September, so be there tonight!  Directions HERE.  Also, tonight at 8:15 pm Summer will be teaching a short Bachata footworks class to the Social attendees.  Be there on time, you won’t want to miss this.

May is just a few days away, so sign up for our newsletter using the link to the left to be informed of our upcoming events/classes/workshops.  These will include the return of the popular and challenging Bachata FIT class, Crazy Merengue and longer bootcamps in Salsa and Bachata to really solidify your beginner technical skills.  Info regarding registration, pricing and location will be posted here on Monday so check back and Pre-register to get the best prices.

Planning Ahead: the May 9th Intermediate class will be temporarily changed to Thursday, May 10th at the Historic Y.  Fluxx is hosting an event on our usual evening so we’re changing our Intermediate schedule for this week only. I’ll remind you next week.

A New Years resolution…dance more!

Happy 2012!  The SalsaSoulseros team wants to wish all of our dedicated students much joy, health and success during this upcoming year! We also want to thank you for allowing us the priviledge of watching you grow personally in… community connection and dance skill development during 2011.

Now, in this upcoming new year we’ve got many, many workshops planned for you… both in Salsa and Bachata.  Check back soon for details on our weekend workshop schedule! Workshops will include: ‘Ladies Spins and Styling’, ‘Transitions in Salsa’, ‘Transitions in Traditional Bachata and Dominican Bachata’. All will be held during the late morning/early afternoons of most Saturdays and Sundays.

Also, during this new year we suggest that you keep updated on our classes and activities by:

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year!! 

As mentioned in class, we will be traveling throughout January so our schedule is a bit wacky.  Below is what it will look like:

  1. Class is on for: Monday, January 3rd: Regular SALSA Schedule @ ABT
  2. Class is on for: Wednesday, January 5th: BACHATA @ Breakout Studios, 524 N. 4th Ave.  6 pm Beginners, 6:30 pm Intermediates
  3. No Classes on: Friday, January 7th or Monday, January 10th
  4. Class is on for: Friday, January 14th: Regular BACHATA Schedule @ ABT
  5. Class is on for: Monday, January 17th: Regular SALSA Schedule @ ABT
  6. Class is on for: Wednesday, January 19th: BACHATA @ Breakout Studios, 524 N. 4th Ave.  6 pm Beginners, 6:30 pm Intermediates
  7. No Classes on: Friday, January 21st or Monday, January 24th
  8. Class is on for: Wednesday, January 26th: SALSA @ Breakout Studios, 524 N. 4th Ave.  6 pm Beginners, 6:30 pm Intermediates
  9. No Classes on: Friday, January 28th or Monday, January 31st
